Security Awareness Leader, Communicator, and Creative

Ant Davis is an award-winning cybersecurity awareness professional with over a decade of experience helping people connect with security in ways that are honest, engaging, and human. He currently leads Security Awareness and Culture at Tesco, where he’s building a multi-year strategy focused on behaviour, storytelling, and continuous engagement – not just compliance.

Ant is also the co-host of The Awareness Angle, a podcast that explores the real-world challenges of influencing human behaviour in cybersecurity. The show has been recognised with the Best Back to Basics award at the European Cybersecurity Blogger Awards, where Ant was also named Contributor of the Year for his wide-ranging work across the awareness community.

With a background in security engagement, internal communications, and creative campaigning, Ant brings a fresh approach to awareness – one rooted in behavioural science, marketing principles, and empathy. His focus is on what actually works: helping people understand risk, make better decisions, and become part of the solution.

Ant has contributed to industry research, tools, and campaigns with organisations like CybSafe, Think Cyber, Hoxhunt, Layer 8, Pentest People, and others. He’s an advocate for transparency in phishing simulation, the ethical use of data in behaviour change, and the power of humour and storytelling in security communication.

He’s also the co-founder of Risky Creative, a side project and creative outlet for ideas, tools, and content that make security simpler – including short-form videos, puppet explainers, awareness games, and interview formats like The Awareness Angle Interviews.

Whether he’s speaking on stage, consulting with teams, recording a podcast or filming a TikTok about MFA, Ant’s goal is always the same: make security make sense.
